What a Week!

Wow!

What a Week!

I wish I had something fun to share with you today, but I don't. :o(

Last night, instead of taking pictures and posting, I watched Groundhog Day with N8dogg, went out to dinner (and to Target) with my Mom and my Sister, and played Just Dance 3 on the Wii. :o)

It was an awesome night, but I still feel kind of bad for not getting a post ready for today....

So, instead of a full blown post here is a sneak peek at my Valentine's Day decor.

This Year's Theme...Piggy Banks?

Remember forever ago when I told you all about my Freak Flag.

Well, it's still flying high. :o)


I can't decide if the paint is more purple or pink? I was going for purple...

However, this year I did a lot of thinking about how I could simplify my present giving system, and finally decided the best way to simplify would be to give all the nieces and nephews a generic gift.

So, in order to do that I needed a theme...yes, a theme.

Anyway, I came across some plain white piggy banks at Tai Pan the other day and it hit me!

Ok, let me give you a little background on my relationship with piggy banks.

Random Fun Fact: I have collected piggy banks since I was about 6 years old.

I have an extremely large collection, and even though I don't actively collect them anymore I still have a thing for a cute piggy bank...meaning, that when I saw some on clearance at Tai Pan for less than a $1...I might have bought 20....wish I was exaggerating...but I am not.

But love the back more! :o)

So, needless to say you are most likely going to see a whole bunch of posts, and hopefully a couple of tutorials, about piggy banks in the near future.

A Quick Birthday Recap!

I got a pretty awesome birthday surprise today at work, so I thought I would share. :o)

So, there I was just sitting at my desk minding my own business when all of a sudden I heard a commotion at the other end of the hall.

I stood up to see what was going on just in time to see my entire office (all 7 of them) coming around the corner singing!

Now, you would naturally assume they would be singing Happy Birthday, right....

Best Ice Cream EVER!

NOPE, they were singing their very own rendition of an annoying restaurant birthday song!
