So, is it too early to be making things for Valentine's Day?
I didn't think so. :o)
Random Fun Fact: I have been loving Jade and Turquoise lately.
No idea why, but there is just something about pairing those two colors with red that makes me happy.
Random, I know, but while browsing in Michael's the other day I found some Jade colored beads that I just couldn't pass up.
Unsure of what I was going to do with a string of Jade colored beads, I looked for something red to complement my new favorite color pallet.
When I found these red hearts I decided that a simple Valentine's Day Bracelet was in order!
Seriously, as soon as I saw these beads I fell in love.
The fact that they were 40% off might have helped a little too. :o)
I started with some elastic cord that I had on hand, but you can find it at most craft stores.
Then I just started stringing.
I used the majority of my Jade colored beads, but only one red heart.
Any idea what I should do with all those hearts?
Anyway, after I had the beads strung I looped the left side through again for strength.
To finish, I tied off the ends, added a dab of super glue to the knot, and then snipped off the remaining strings.
And there you have it!
Cute, huh.
Now you have a cute and simple bracelet to wear for Valentine's Day, or St. Patrick's Day, or everyday! :o)
Happy Friday!
